Amtrak Vacations is very sensitive to privacy issues on the Internet. We believe it is important you know how we treat the information you may provide to us.
Unless prominently and specifically stated otherwise, the information you provide is never shared outside of Amtrak Vacations.
This privacy statement applies only to information collected by web addresses in the amtrakvacations.com domain, hereafter referred to collectively as Amtrak Vacations.
How We Gather Information
If you purchase a product or service from us or order a brochure or other literature, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and address) and/or financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you. We also use the mailing address to send you brochures and other items of interest.
Log Files
As is true of most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.

If you reject cookies, you may still use our site, but your ability to use some areas of our site may be limited. The Amtrak Vacations Reservations System requires the use of cookies for the shopping cart.

Amtrak Vacations safeguards the security of the data you send us with physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. Likewise, we urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters, numbers and symbols, and make sure you use a secure browser.

You always have access to the information we have about you. To review and update your personal contact information, simply contact us at our mailing address or send and email message to CustomerService@amtrakholidays.com to have the information changed or removed.
Brochures And Promotional Email
If you no longer wish to receive our brochures and promotional communications from Amtrak Vacations, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each communication or by emailing us at CustomerService@amtrakholidays.com

The Amtrak Vacations web site may contain links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Amtrak Vacations. Please be aware that Amtrak Vacations is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. Information Obtained From Third Parties
Amtrak Vacations does not sell or trade your personal information. We may at times receive contact lists from other organizations. We may send mailings such as brochures to these addresses. Typically, these are one-time mailings, and the data is not entered into our database. If you want to remove yourself from the third party's database, you must contact them directly. By contacting us with the mailing information, we may be able to tell you from where we received your contact info.

Our employees and certain third party service providers are permitted access to member information that they may need to perform their jobs and to provide service to you.
